Raise Awareness

YOUTH IDEA: Launch an Awareness Campaign using FaceBook. Just join the Hope Unlimited cause and then invite all your friends to join (can raise funds too)
Set up a booth at your church’s missions fair
Add the location of the Hope youth ranches to your church’s missions map (Campinas is in Sao Paulo State, Vitoria is in Espirito Santo State)
Speak at other local churches, Christian schools, missions events, etc
Interview with local Christian radio stations or publications
Write letters to the editor
Get to know Brazilians living in your community to engage them in ministry to the street children in their own country.
Use Viva Network resources for info about the worldwide problem (150 million orphans) www.viva.org

Take Action

Organize volunteers for your awareness or action events. Develop a core group that has a real heart for the plight of street children and orphans.
Join the Hope Prayer Network (sign up online to get weekly prayer updates) Designate one Prayer Partner to make sure Hope prayer requests are also on your church’s prayer list.
Join or lead a mission team to Brazil (vision trips available for leaders)
Valentine’s card program (make and send personal cards to the girls)
